Craig Hartglass has worked as a tin-knocker, roofer, and carpenter, and once, for two days, as a chauffeur, until the rich guy shoved him aside and took the wheel. He was lucky enough to spend the winter housesitting in the Florida Keys, where his roast chicken won a prize over three counties. His short fiction has appeared or is forthcoming in The Chaffin Journal, One Story, The Potomac Review, Quarterly West, Swill, and other fine journals.
